Be prepared to either have a dry camp, or to haul water up from the river at the bottom of the canyon. Worth the trouble to find "Outlaw Cave."

I'm not sure this campground is still there. The rock and sign are there but I could not find the campground. I ended up staying at a campground in Kaycee, Wyoming.

Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid are easy to imagine. While the actual "Hole-in--the-Wall" formation collapsed some years ago, this place is steeped in history & has beautiful scenery! Red rock country is always attractive to me, and the historic context makes for a fine place to contemplate the "Old West."
